Chilkur balaji temple in hyderabad, andhra pradesh, india is located at Chilkur village, which is 33 Kms away from Mehendipatnam.  Chilkur balaji temple is approximately visited by  75,000 to 1,00,000 devotees every week and generally this temple gets many devotees on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays of the week.

Chilkur balaji temple is managed by the hereditary trustee Mr.M.V. Soundara rajan, Mr. Ranga rajan and Mr. C.S. Gopal krishna and the entire family of the archaka, including the women have dedicated themselves to serve the God. A sleepy village, Chilkur has come up as a very prominent pilgrim centre in Hyderabad. The Lord here is Sri Balaji venkateshwara swamy in a standing posture, beside whom is Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi, here it is said that the Lord bears an injury on his chest which is believed to have been made during digging out of the Idol from chilkur village.
